Description

Dry, Lime, Passionfruit

This wine has the classic Marlborough aromas of ripe passionfruit, citrus blossom and chopped summer herbs. These characters are echoed in the taste of the wine, along with the addition of fresh lime zest, lemongrass and some tropical fruit flavours. The palate is dry and zesty with lovely concentration. Enjoy while young and fruity – over the next 12-24 months.

2026 was characterised by lower-than-average yields, a lovely long warm summer (but not particularly hot) and low rainfall over the harvest period. We have several vineyards across the Marlborough region, including the Awatere Valley; and the grapes for this wine were drawn from the best of these blocks.

Each vineyard block was picked individually in the cool of the early morning. The grapes were gently pressed and the juice from each fermented in separate tanks, using specially selected yeast to highlight the wine’s fruity character. After fermentation, we selected the best tanks for blending to create this wine.

Food Pairing: Perfect as a refreshing glass of wine on its own, or enjoy with seafood, shellfish, salads, and vegetarian dishes.
