Description
"Fresh and zesty, this tasty rosé is filled with all the tasty flavours of sauvignon blanc flavours. Lifted aromas of grapefruit, Gala apple, kiwifruit and lime peel with subtle hint of ripe strawberries on the nose. The palate is mouth-wateringly vibrant with pristine fruit flavours and fine texture, finishing lingering and lively. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2018
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec grape varieties sourced from selected vineyard sites capable of reaching optimum flavour intensity. With delicious aromas of fresh raspberry and pink grapefruit, the palate displays flavours of peach, watermelon and subtle nuances of raspberry leaf. Perfectly balanced with fine acidity and great persistence.
Grapes were machine harvested in the cool of the night in order to retain fresh fruit flavours. They then spent just a few hours on skins to extract the delicate amount of light strawberry colour seen in the bottle, then carefully pressed. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness.
This wine is perfect for drinking now or best consumed within the next two years.
Food Pairing: Ideal served chilled on a warm summer’s day with fresh fish and green salad.

Excellent-nice and dry. Pity the courier left it out in the rain and ignored instructions

The difference in alcohol content from earlier vintages is noticeable, and does change the flavour. Actually, I hadn’t really noticed that I was previously drinking a significantly lower-alcohol version of this wine…and, believe it or not, I think that I preferred the lower-alcohol version. That said, this is still a very good rosé and well worth purchasing – the acidity is now a little higher, although still extremely manageable.
