"I love the combination of dark red berry fruits laced with toasty smokey wood and barrel spices. Aromas and flavours of roasted plums and blackberry fruits, clove and vanilla, anise and violets. Nice weight and intensity on the palate with with youthful firm tannins and acidity delivering a taut squeeze then relaxes with core ripe red berry fruit and plum flesh and flavours. Delicious for drinking from 2024 through 2030 or sooner with higher protein based fare"Â Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Dec 2022
Garnet with a purple hue. Dark berry and cassis notes on the nose with subtle oak spice and a hint of vanilla. A plush fruit driven palate. Fine tannins with soft acidity and a lingering finish.
A blend of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Individual vineyard parcels were selectively picked. Each parcel was destemmed with sorting into open top red fermentation tanks. Hand plunged several times a day the wine remained on skins for 14-28 days then pressed to barrel or tank for natural Malolactic fermentation.
