Description
A fantastic full bodied wine, showcasing a classic Spanish blend of Tempranillo (95%) Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). Berry flavours with fine spices and scents of herbs can be found on the nose. This wine is highly aromatic and very expressive, with a long finish.
The origin of a wine lies on springtime, when plants awake and blooming flowers cover the land that nourish them. And it is for this the wine is named 'Abril' (April in Spainish), springtime in this part of the world.
The Azuly Garanza vines occupy various plots in the north of Spain, located next to the Natural Park of the Bardenas Reales of Navarre. The terrain and climate in this region is a shallow desert area with clay-traced soils. The geoclimatic conditions of minimal water and extreme contrasts in temperature between day and night, unique to the Navarre, lead the vines to offer a lower production of small grapes that have a high concentration and a perfect equilibrium.
