When we think of Lanvin, we think of 'value for money' and consistent multi-award winning Champagne that is fresh, fruity with just a hint of dried flowers, warm brioche and honey.

Description

"This non-vintage expression makes another of its regular appearances among our top placegetters. It’s a fresh, approachable style with bready complexity taking the lead and sweet nougat in a secondary role. Fine and tight in structure, gently textured, it represents outstanding value" Cuisine Magazine, Issue 185, November / December 2017

"This label is consistently excellent. The bouquet is classic Champagne - yeasty with subtle citrus, stone fruit and apple notes. And the palate is silky smooth with rich texture and beautifully integrated acidity. The wine flows seamlessly to a satisfying finish" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, December 2012

A pale, gold champagne colour with fine notes and continuous bubbles in the glass. The bouquet is very stylish with creamy fruit, toasty yeast influence, smoky complexity and honeyed maturity. It tastes elegant, long and smooth with lovely richness and fine texture. It is fresh and soft on the palate and finishes with a lemon flavour.

H. Lanvin & Fils is a niche Champagne brand produced by the family owned House, Lombard & Cie. Located in Epernay, the capital city of Champagne, producing about 1.5 million bottles per year. Founded in 1925 this family owned business has been passed down through 3 generations.

The blend includes 40% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay from vineyards vineyards in the Montagne de Reims Ouest, Coulommes, Jouy, Pargny Les Reims and Villedommange. The wines are fermented in thermo regulated stainless steel vats to preserve the aromas of each cru. This wine has been aged at least 18 months in bottle before release.

Food Pairing: This is a fine balanced champagne, perfect as an aperitif
