Description
"A sturdy rendition, the beautifully lifted bouquet shows dark fruit, espresso, olive and toasted almond characters. The palate is plump and generous with excellent fruit intensity backed by attractive spicy/savoury undertones, leading to a lingering firm finish. The wine is bold and structured, making it a fabulous wine to partner rich meaty dishes. At its best: now to 2021" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2018
Dark ruby red color in the glass with concentrated aroma of wild berries (blueberries, blackberries) and spices (clove) with oaky notes of toast. Warm and vinous on the palate with lush body and juicy tannins nicely refined by oak aging.
Juan Torres Casals was born in 1865 and represents the second generation of Bodegas Torres. Determined and driven by a vision for the future, he registered the Coronas brand on February 7th, 1907, thus creating a wine that would make history in Spain.
This wine spent 10 days in contact with the skins before 1 week fermentation in stainless steel, under controlled temperature conditions (25-26ºC). The wine was later aged in a mix of American and French oak for 12 months. Stored under the right conditions, the wine will hold its potential for the next 5-8 years.
Food Pairing: Pairs perfectly with meat, creamy cheeses and traditional paella.

Lots of fruit flavours. Don’t have to concentrate to enjoy. Good value
