A fruit driven Chardonnay with complex flavours of nectarine, peach and toasty oak. The palate is rich, generous and complex with an elegant structure and refined lingering finish. The lengthy palate offers juicy layers of tropical and ripe stone fruit with spice notes.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from several vineyards across the Marlborough region with a variety of different clones.
The majority of this Faultline Reserve Chardonnay was barrel fermented in seasoned oak. This wine went through malolactic fermentation which helps to soften the acidity and gives fullness on the palate.
A great wine for drinking immediately, or with careful cellaring of up to five years from vintage date this Chardonnay will develop into a fuller, more complex wine.
