"Made with a blend of Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo and 10% Graciano from the bodega’s oldest vineyards in the Rioja Alavesa, this is a Gran Reserva that lives up to its billing. This lovely Rioja blend displays a dark garnet colour in the glass that is clean and bright. Revealing spicy aromas of cloves, black pepper, and a bit of cedar wood and shrubby herbs. Powerful, tasty, spicy and creamy in the mouth, with a long aftertaste.
Food Pairing: This wine matches perfectly with red meat, stews and roasted food as well as game. Particularly suited for cold meats and dry cheeses.
