"A bright and fresh patio sipper with ripe strawberry, red berry fruit, melon and white pepper flavours. Creamy on the palate finishing with a kiss of spice and refreshing acidity. Rose food parings: Roast turkey, roast ham studded with cloves roasted in orange sauce, pork sausage casserole. Terrific turkey wine" Natalie Maclean, nataliemaclean.com, Nov 2020
"Bright and pale Rosé colour. Pure, floral and intense nose offering notes of red berries, plum, pink grapefruit and some spicy anise notes. The palate is crisp and youthful with medium body, freshly crushed berry notes with a mild spiciness, zesty notes and a rather long pure finish" Andreas Larrson
"This soft, bright and ripe wine is full of red fruits. Acidity is balanced in this wine with a fresh aftertaste and tangy texture. It is rich, generous and ready to drink" Ross Voss, Wine Enthusiast
"Beautiful pale pink, peach coloured, delicate nose with notes of reseda. Ample and round palate" Guide Hachette Des Vins 2020
The wine has a captivating salmon pink colour. The nose is aromatic and fresh with crispy notes of ripe red fruits on the palate. The acidity evens out delicately and gives the wine a balanced, long and clean finish.
Originated in the winemakers vineyards at the 135 year old domaine de la Grande Séouve in the heart of AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, Masion Saint Aix focuses on creating the best possible Rosé in the world. The wine's generous taste, harmonious structure and long finish make it the perfect Rosé for sharing all year round.
Given the different climatic conditions throughout the year 2019, an extraordinary terroir and a perfectly developed Grenache, this vintage truly reflects the region of Provence. A dry and very hot year followed by late rains enabled all grapes to each a great level of maturity.
Grapes were picked as early as 4am to ensure that their delicate aromas, flavours and freshness were captured. Fermentation at low temperatures preserved the aromas of the fruit. A state-of-the-art production process minimized the influence of oxygen. The innovating tchnique of cold stabilization ensured even more fruity aromas and a very pleasant, delicate vintage.
Putting quality above all, Maison Saint Aix invests in these innovative techniques to refine traditional methods, rather than replace them.
