A fruit driven Chardonnay with complex flavours of ripe stone fruit, nashi pear and sweet pastry. The palate is rich, generous and complex with an elegant structure and refined lingering finish. The lengthy palate offers juicy layers of tropical and ripe stone fruit with subtle spice notes. A great wine for drinking immediately, or with careful cellaring of up to five years from vintage date this Chardonnay will develop into a fuller, more complex wine.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from several quality vineyards across the Marlborough region with a variety of different clones.
The majority of this Faultline Reserve Chardonnay was barrel fermented in seasoned French and American oak. This wine went through malolactic fermentation which helps to soften the acidity and gives fullness on the palate.

Great value. Easy drinking and more body than the others I've tried in the $11 to $12 price range. Nice hint of oak too. Will definitely be purchasing another case
