Named 'buttery' for its smooth, creamy texture, this Chardonnay simply melts in the mouth. A pale straw colour in the glass with beautifully integrated toasty oak presence resulting in tantalizing flavours of brioche and vanilla, while still enabling the delightful ripe stone fruit characters to shine through.
Grapes for this wine were direct pressed with no skin contact to preserve freshness. The juice was then clarified and transferred into a combination of tank and French oak barriques for barrel fermentation. After ferment the wine underwent malolactic fermentation, then further left on yeast lees until racking and blending in December 2019.
