- Lemon peel
- White floral
- Dry finish
"Exquisitely elegant and delicately fragrant, the wine shows crunchy apple, white flesh nectarine, lemon peel and white floral aromas on the nose, followed by a finely focused palate that's persistent and linear. It's light and fabulous poised with juicy flavours, finishing splendidly long and crisp. At its best: now to 2022" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2020
"Floral, ripe, delicate, fruity and a decidedly pretty bouquet with aromas of white blossoms and light red berry fruits. On the palate – mouth watering acidity gives way to flavours of red melon and cranberry, white strawberry and tropical fruits. The delicate blossom note returns long with a touch of stony minerality. No mistaking the acidity and crunchy textures. Balanced and well made, ready to enjoy from today and through summer 2022" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Aug 2020
Pale salmon in colour, this Mediterranean style rosé is savoury with fresh sea breeze aromas of Himalayan salt and green peppercorn, overlaying nuances of cranberry and Honeydew melon. The zesty palate exudes mandarin, white peach, grapefruit and blackcurrant with touches of spice and wet stone. This elegant rosé is perfectly poised with grainy tension, delivering a briny fresh, vibrant and dry finish.
Isle of Beauty is the evocative name given to the French island of Corsica, located in the Mediterranean Sea. This is where winemaker David Clouston learnt his craft and became passionate about rosé.
A prolonged Indian summer with cool nights, typical of Marlborough, led to expressive wines with great natural acidity. The season produced pristine fruit with beautifully ripe flavours. Treated as a white wine in the winery this rosé was pressed off skins early, fermented cold and then aged for 10 weeks in stainless steel and concrete egg tanks to accentuate complexity and minerality.

My new best Rose. Very French in style with a delicious fragrance. Bone dry, not good with sweet food.
