Vibrant red berry fruits with a distinct stone fruit layer. Delicate notes of rose petal, cinnamon and cracked pepper. Mouth filling and dry, with an energetic acid balance. Peach and nectarine flavours with classic cherry and strawberry notes. Best in its vibrant youth, expect the fruit intensity to mellow over the next 3 years to more complex notes. Confidently cellar through to 2024.

2 x Man O' War Waiheke Pinque Rosé 2020

2020 Pinque is once again pale in colour, sweetly fragrant with red berry, watermelon and fresh herb notes. The palate is dry and refreshing with a touch of raspberry sweet tartness on the finish. Loaded with lots of natural CO2 from the fermentation the 2020 Pinque is fresh, crisp and very very drinkable!

2020 was an incredible vintage, particularly for reds with lots of heat over the Summer and Autumn months and practically a drought with little or no rain. For reds that means small berries, low yields, lots of concentration and tannin – pretty much the opposite of what they look for in their Rose vineyards!

2 x Amisfield Central Otago Pinot Noir Rosé 2020

A pale salmon pink, classically Pinot Noir Rosé in colour. Lifted floral nose, rosewater and strawberry fruit. The palate mixes crunchy red delicious apple, ripe raspberry and cream before finishing dry.

Grown within the Waenga silty loam soils of the lower terraces, the Pinot Noir fruit for this Rosé express bright berry flavours with a light tannin profile.

Central Otago experienced a growing season of extremes. Rain and strong wind through November and December impacted flowering, reducing yields. This was followed by a warm and mild January which helped develop healthy canopies. At harvest, nighttime temperatures plummeted, dramatically slowing the pace of ripening. This helped retain bright acidity, and allowed picking to extend from mid-March until mid-May. The small crops ensured great concentration of flavour.
