Sweet dark fruit aromas of blueberry, plum and blackcurrant. The nose is fragrant with clove and toasted nut aromas. The palate is rounded with succulent flavours of aniseed, vibrant dark fruit, pepper and chocolate. Firm dry tannins, subtle oak and rich well-balanced aged characteristics compliment this Shiraz.
The Tea Tree Gully 2020 Shiraz was produced from fruit grown in the Riverland area, South Australia. Following harvest, the fruit underwent a 7-day cool soak before fermentation. After 10 days of skin contact, the wine was pressed and aged in French oak barrels for 6 months prior to blending and bottling.
The Tea Tree Gully wines (Malbec, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay) have been finished and bottled at our winery in Waipara.

Great tasting with a long finish. That's how Shiraz supposed to taste. Good for every day drinking.

Enjoyed the wine. It was a little 'sweet' for my taste. Prefer a fuller bodied wine.
