The nose is fine with initial almond, apricot and white peach aromatics that develop to biscuit yeast characters of hot buttered toast and a hint of liquorice root. The palate is elegant, packed with citrus and mineral characters and a beautifully balanced, refreshingly dry finish. This Laverique continues our tradition of producing a wonderfully elegant sparkling wine to be enjoyed on all occasions.
The 2016 Laverique Méthode Traditionelle is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Waipara Valley.

An amazing bubbly, it is like old vintage champagne with its golden colour, and its biscuit, yeast and brioche notes. For me, this is by far the best and best value bubble from NZ. I still have a few bottles of the sold-out 2014 vintage, which is even better and will keep for many years. A priceless find. Thank you guys.
