Description

  • American & French oak
  • Red cherry & plum
  • Subtle vanilla & oak spice
  • Soft velvety tannins

"Beautifully composed and seductively enticing with dark plum, spiced cherry, dried herb and subtle cocoa notes on the nose. The palate highlights grenache's soothing texture and sweet berry flavours, combined with weight and richness, finishing velvety and persistent. At its best: now to 2029" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2022

Lifted aromas of red cherry and plum complemented by hints of liquorice and vanilla on the nose, with a rich fleshy palate. Soft velvety tannins provide a silky yet persistent finish, punctuated with bright redcurrant and blueberry characters and a subtle background of oak spice.

Sourced from premium vineyards in the Barossa, this wine was fermented at cooler temperatures for ten days followed by secondary fermentation and maturation in a combination of French and American oak for twelve months to add greater complexity and depth to the wine.

Gravel Track pays tribute to the long gravel and limestone track that wines its way through their historic 60-year-old Farms vineyard.
