"Aromas of dark spices, dark berries and dark chocolate. The scents of smoky wood and dark clay sandy soils add complexity and enticement. Dry on the palate with a decent weight and harmonious complexity. Flavours of dark berres and spices, along with wood and smoke layer in complexity and charm. Well made and ready to drink from 2022 through 2026" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Jan 2022
"It's beautifully ripe and fragrant with blackberry, tapenade, spicy oak, cured meat and subtle vanilla aromas, followed by a succulent palate offering plump mouthfeel and silky texture, leading to a lingering delectable finish. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2022
Carmine red Malbec expressing ripe plum and raspberry aromas with elegant vanilla notes from the oak. Well balanced with sweet tannins and a velvety finish.
100% Malbec grown in the Uco Valley and Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza. The climate here is dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect riening.
Grapes were harvested by machine during the third week of March, then destemmed and crushed. Maceration was done before fermentation. Alcoholic fermentation took 20 days in stainless steel tanks at 26°C before undergoing natural malolactic fermentation. 20% of the wine was aged in French & American oak for 6 months.
