This delectable easy drinking wine is pale salmon in colour, with engaging flavours of delicate red berry fruits, a hint of spice, and a touch of sweetness. Terrific to drink now or over the next 12 months, serve chilled.
The 2020 vintage was impacted by various natural disasters including drought, fires and floods, followed by a global pandemic. Fortunately the smoke from the fires did not reach the Riverina and impact the fruit. A dry winter and early spring as a result of the drought, lead to some restrictions of growth and yield, however still allowing for good quality fruit.
The Shiraz for this wine is harvested early morning to retain the fresh fruit characters that embody this Rosé. The grape is pressed almost immediately to gain just a hint of colour, and then over the next 2-3 weeks, the juice is fermented in tank.
A celebration of our Italian roots, planted in Australian soil. Enjoyed internationally, these wines reflect the styles of wine that have been appreciated by the De Bortoli family for four generations.
