"The colour is quite a full pink and has youthful tints, while the bouquet is very fruity and shows a lot of fresh, primary strawberry and raspberry aromas. A delicious wine. Lovely balance" Huon Hooke, Real Review, Nov 2020
Lively, energetic and perfectly dry in the attack, revealing hints of summer fruits yet with an unexpected arrow of precision running right through to the long savoury finish.
Known as the “Royal Rose”, Mumm’s Le Rosé is a tribute to the elegant Royal Courts of Europe and the inimitable style of the House. Mumm's very first rosé champagne was made in the 1860s. A century later, Mumm Rosé adopted a now-famous design: a rose, painted in watercolour by the great Japanese artist and friend of the House, Léonard Foujita. When opening a bottle of Mumm Rosé, the wine lover will be surprised to discover a beautifully drawn rose. Like an ornamental seal guaranteeing the authenticity of the cuvée, it is still present on the cap of the bottle.
Food Pairing: Although traditionally served with red fruit desserts or pink biscuits of Reims, this delicious champagne is particularly enjoyable served chilled as an aperitif. It is a brut wine that can be enjoyed throughout the meal. This cuvée is a perfect accompaniment to smoked salmon, taramasalata and high-quality ham. Mumm Rosé is served between 6°C-8°C.
