"Aromas and flavours of peaches and red apple, there’s a distinctive floral lift with sweet honeycuckle and rose qualities. A mineral note adds complexity and charm. A satin texture touches first with acidity to carry the fruits flavours throughout the palate. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from 2022 through end of summer 2024" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Oct 2022

"Bright, pale peach pink, even colour throughout. The nose is full, softly packed with blossom, raspberry, strawberry and red berry fragrances. Medium-bodied, dry to taste, raspberry and red berry aromas melded with floral and savoury elements. The wine is mouth-filling, with savoury notes of meatiness unfolding along with red fruit mix on a creamy, fine-textured palate" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Nov 2022

A modern stylish Rosé offering a delicious combination of juicy strawberry and raspberry flavours with a succulent, dry, refreshing finish. Best enjoyed while young but will continue to drink well over the next two years.

Grapes for our Hawke’s Bay Rosé were sourced from different sub-regions and picked at the ideal combination of ripeness, flavour, and acidity to provide maximum complexity and freshness. Tempranillo from the Gimblett Gravels provides a core of red fruit flavour, while Syrah from Moteo Pa and Roys Hill contributes florals, perfume, and a hint of savoury spice.

The grapes were gently but rapidly pressed, with the juice cold settled and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel to maximise the retention of fruit character. A small amount of residual sugar was retained to balance the acidity and the wine bottled early to capture its youthfulness and vitality.

Food Pairing: Enjoy on its own or partnered with antipasto, sashimi, or panfried salmon.
