Description

  • Dry style
  • Juicy peach
  • Toasted spice
  • Lingering finish

"It's exotic and fragrant on the nose, showing mango, lychee, gilled stone fruit, warm spice, and rose petal aromas. The palate delivers succulent fruit intensity with plush texture and refreshing acidity, making it delicious and fabulously drinkable. A gorgeous rendition of the variety. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2025

Lifted aromas of lychee, and rose petal lead to an elegant palate of luscious peach with a hint of toasted spice. This Gewürztraminer is velvety and aromatic with a long, lingering finish. Perfect for drinking now or with careful cellaring this wine will continue to evolve and reward over the next 3-5 years.

Grapes were sourced from several low cropping vineyards in Marlborough/s Wairau Valley and harvested in the coolness of the evening at the peak of flavour development.

Food Pairing: Perfect for drinking now or with careful cellaring this wine will continue to evolve and reward over the next 3-5 years.

Probably the best value for money we've had. Nice lychee aroma with spicy and floral notes. Normally you pay $16-$20 for this quality.

About the most typical wine that replicates that from the Alsace in France, but better.

Ralph - 08/03/2024

Pleasent enough without being startling.
