"Attractively styled and delightfully appealing, the bouquet shows yellow stone fruit, rockmelon, vanilla and hazelnut aromas, followed by a succulent palate offering rounded mouthfeel and creamy texture. Elegant yet flavoursome with a lengthy delectable finish. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2023

"An enticing bouquet with aromas and flavours of fresh red and yellow apples, vanilla and some baking spices highlights. There’s a lovely weight and intensity as the wine touches the palate, a fine creamy texture with flavours that reflect the bouquet. Ultra fine tannins and medium+ acidity add further texture and mouthfeel. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from 2023 through 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Aug 2022

Medium lemon with gold flecks. An enticing aroma of nectarine, golden peach and hazelnut, followed by suggestions of toasted almond and lemon meringue pie. Intensely fruity and rounded on the palate. Grilled apricot, peach and grapefruit flood the mid palate, the wine finishing long and luscious, with a hint of minerality and a pleasing mealy, creaminess. A fruit-forward style of Chardonnay that showcases the juicy fruit.

80% of the fruit from our Clouston Vineyard with the balance from our organically certified Om Santi Vineyard. A mix of clones all fermented in French oak barrels with some lees stirring to add complexity. After nine months in barrel, the wine was bottled in December 2022.

Food Pairing: Excellent with crayfish risotto as well as Kiwi staples like roast pork and poultry. The wine will be at its best between 2023 and 2027.
