Produced from a blend of clones 95 and Mendoza, the wine has white peach, melon and nectarine aromas followed by a creamy and textured palate with beautiful balance and a long, pure finish. It is a beautiful wine, ready to deliver in any setting today, but it will also reward cellaring, further integrating the oak notes with Marlborough’s trademark acidity.
We harvested in the cool of the morning, then gently pressed the grapes to then ferment and age the wine in a mixture of 25% new, 75% old French barriques for 8 months prior to bottling.
Food Pairing: This wine goes perfectly with creamy pasta dishes, pan-fried salmon, roasted chicken or crayfish. Our perfect match is creamy garlic scallops with some freshly baked ciabatta bread. Absolutely delicious.
