"It's splendidly ripe and elegantly complex, showing dark berry, thyme, dried mushroom and toasted nut aromas, leading to a silky-smooth palate that's succulent and fleshy. Wonderfully rounded and flavoursome with a lingering velvety finish. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2023
This classic Wairarapa Pinot Noir combines elevated aromas of raspberry, blackberry, plum and with a touch of earthiness. The palate is rich with beautiful cherry fruit, chocolate, spice and delicate tannins.
The vineyard is planted in a range of Pinot Noir Clones that give character and complexity to our wines. Naturally Low yields and meticulous viticulture ensure clean ripe fruit is selected for this wine.
The Fruit was harvested by clonal selection and fermented in small open top fermenters. A combination of Plunge and pump over techniques ensured optimum flavour extraction. After ferment the wines were aged in French barrels for 10 months, before blending and bottling.
Food Pairing: A superb accompaniment to roast duck, lamb chops with barbequed asparagus, and grilled butternut squash with onion and chickpea stuffing.

It was a pleasant surprise to find the mystery wine was [Winery Name] which is one of our favourite wines. This choice was up to their usual excellent standard.
Michael - 29/08/2024
I have had this [mystery wine] now several times. Very good value. I rate it higher than some Central Otago Pinot Noir.
Peter - 05/08/2024
Great value for money
Blar - 10/07/2024
Really enjoyed this Pinot, had a previous vintage which qas a cracker, this did not disappoint.
David - 08/02/2025
A very drinkable Pinot noir. Rich with fruit and oak finish on the palate
Sandy - 07/02/2025
I don't usually buy Wairarapa Pinots, my go to is Marlborough or top of the South island pinots. I consider Central Otago the premier region but they always demand high prices. The good reviews convinced me to break my prejudices and buy tis wine. OK, its very drinkable but it doesn't sway my long held preferences for South Island pinots.
Ian - 01/02/2025
Tasty Pinot from the Wairarapa. This is my second purchase. Has a sophistication that is not found in other regions.
Paul - 21/12/2024
God value for the cost.
David - 14/12/2024
Another case bought as we really enjoyed this wine.
Sandy - 10/11/2024
A nice smooth Pinot - easy on the tongue and suited to a variety of meal combinations and would be a nice iced red for a summer BBQ
Adrienne - 10/10/2024
drinkable as always! cheers Tom
Tom - 06/10/2024
Really enjoyed an earlier vintage (2000) and judging by rather poor reviews, the secret is to cellar this wine for a few years. So sorry, can't yet review this wine vintage as its gone into my cellar.
Rhys - 04/10/2024

A very easy drinking light Pinot Noir with lovely berry and cherry flavors. Extremely well priced so I suggest you stock up before it's gone.

Not quite my taste but good value
Rod - 08/10/2024
Easy drinking, lightweight everyday wine. Good value
Grant - 27/09/2024
Not as good as the 1990-more like a Marlborough P. noir
Ian - 26/08/2024
As good as some for twice the price at the supermarket. Enjoying bottle 3 as we speak
Peter - 01/08/2024
For some reason, I was not as impressed as I hoped I would be going by the write-up
