Description

  • American & French oak
  • Cherries
  • Thyme
  • Fine-grained tannins

Medium-high layer of purple color. It presents pure and precise aromas of cherries, red berries and thyme. Medium-bodied, with good length and weight on the palate, displaying a beautiful balance between fresh acidity, concentrated fruit and firm but fine-grained tannins.

Laderas Tempranillo 2021 comes from a selection of 100% Tempranillo grapes of high quality and low yield from vines in "Laderas" on limestone soils. Fresh, fruity and with good acidity. With fantastic value for money, this Tempranillo is a sure value.

Approximately a quarter of the wine is aged for 4-6 months in new, high-quality French and American oak barrels , for greater complexity and texture, but without excessive oak input to overpower the fruit.

Bideona (formerly Badiola)  belongs to  Península Vinicultores  and produces village and plot wines that reflect the freshness, elegance and depth of aromas that must distinguish the great wines of Rioja Alavesa . They manage more than 300 plots of extraordinary vineyards on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, mainly in the towns of Villabuena de Álava, Leza, Samaniego, Laguardia, Navaridas and Baños de Ebro.

Food Pairing: Feathered game, roasts, white meats, charcuterie, cured cheeses.
