"Aromas and flavours of fresh raspberries and cherries, there’s a plushness and freshness as the wine touches the palate. A dry wine style with core fruit flavours of red skinned fruit, some fine lees textures and clean refreshing finish. Balanced and well made with best drinking from day of purchase through end of summer 2026" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2024

This fruit driven Rosé shows beautiful bright berry, peach and nectarine characters. Fresh berry characters and juicy cherry notes lead onto a palate that is complex and vibrant. The fruity characters linger on a well-balanced palate, with an off-dry texture that finishes full and creamy.

At the start of the growing season conditions were dry with some isolated spring frost events. During flowering cooler temperature and changeable daytime weather led to a below-average set of berries. Warm days and settled weather followed, resulting in higher-than-average daily temperature. During vintage we had warm days, cool nights and minimal rain which allowed perfect conditions for the fruit to be picked at optimum ripeness. Although we had lower-than-average yield, the fruit that was there was of excellent quality.

This wine is a blend of Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer with each variety contributing unique characteristics to the final wine. Fruit was picked in the cool of the morning. The Pinot Noir grapes were left to soak on skins for 24 hours to pick up some colour before pressing. The varieties were fermented separately before the wine was blended and Estate bottled. This wine is Certified Vegan by the NZ Vegetarian Society.
