Description
- Boysenberry
- Blackberry
- Subtle spice
- Mouth-filling
"Full, deep ruby-red with a black-purple hue, lighter on the rim. The nose is full and generous, with aromas of ripe blackberry, boysenberry and plum melded with dark herb, bergamot and faint of spice. Medium-bodied, aromas of blackberry, boysenberry and plum form a plush core, unfolding dark herbs, bergamot, cured meat and spiced tea. The mouthfeel is filled with supple, fine grainy tannins and carries a hint of smoked chocolate to a dry, dark-fruited finish. The fruit shows power and concentration, enriching and broadening the palate with balanced acidity. This is an amiable Cotes du Rhone Villages with plush dark fruit and herbs nuances on a mouth-filling palate with a supple tannin structure" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Oct 2022
Each vintage, from our base in Cairanne, we are able to select exceptional Grenache and Syrah from the best Côtes du Rhône Villages to make Les Coteaux, which we then enrich with classified wine from Séguret and Sablet.
