"Bright and crisp aromas of honeysuckle, green apple, blend with the riper and generous flavours of white peach and honeydew melon. The palate is dry, and delivers a layered and juicy mouthfeel with a firm fresh acidity providing a focus amongst the orchard fruit of quince ,apples and subtle notes of fresh herbs" The Wine Writer, Dec 2024
Nashi pear, white clover honey, lemon curd and bright florals. Platinum, pale straw. Juicy fruit sweetness of pear, rock melon and ripe nectarine balance with a soft yet textural palate.
Stony soils with overlying sandy loam, deep river silt and free draining gravels.
These grapes were destemmed and gently pressed to tank, retaining only free-run and light-pressing juice fractions. Fermented cool with a selected aromatic yeast to optimise varietal intensity and flavour concentration. Maturation on light lees for 3 months to add complexity and weight to the palate before finishing and bottling.
