Description

  • Off-dry style
  • Apple & fig
  • Jasmine
  • Racy acidity

"Offering excellent fruit purity and vibrancy, the wine shows crunchy apple, fig, lemon zest and jasmine nuances on the nose. The palate delivers lovely focus and fine flow, beautifully supported by whispering sweetness and racy acidity, finishing long and lively. Style: Off-dry. At its best: now to 2030" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2024

Light straw. A perfumed wine with nuances of lemon/lime, apricot and citrus blossom underpinned by spice and nectarine characters. Excellent fruit purity, with bright lemon/lime notes with hints of apricot. Dryish with great acid balance and a refreshing mineral finish.

Our 2024 Riesling is made from grapes grown on Mount Riley’s Litchfield and Anderson Vineyards in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. A growing season with moderate summer temperatures gave the perfect conditions for excellent flavour development and the remarkable aromatics that this classic wine is known for. Grapes were harvested in pristine condition then crushed and destemmed. Fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures in stainless steel to achieve absolute purity of fruit.

Marlborough’s 2024 harvest was dominated by dry, windy weather, super clean fruit and delicious flavours. The season in Marlborough was marked by the change from the La Nina weather patterns of the last two years to a strong El Nino.

Food Pairing: Drinking well now, this wine will continue to improve and develop until 2029. Great as an aperitif or match with seafood, light meats & spicy foods.
