Description

Double Gold Medal winner + 92pts. Awarded Rhone Valley winery of the Year: New York International Wine Competition

"Rich, ripe flavours of spiced blackberry, raspberry and redcurrant. Lovely, long, smooth and silky tannin but with plenty of 'oomph'. Everything about this juicy, fresh southern French red is delicious and gluggable."

The most exciting & attractively packagaed wine we've found in years. Luscious, warm, richly-fruited Côtes du Rhône that's so impressive you'd swear it was Châteauneuf-du-Pape until you see the price!

Celliers des Dauphins have been big players in the southern Rhône for decades but in the last few years they have re-invented themselves and taken the UK by storm. In fact, their wines have become so popular we're lucky to get an allocation! Try this lovely red before it's all gone.

Below average, have had much much better wines even cheap reds in France last month. will be back again for more French reds though.

Smooth, flavoursome.

I really enjoy this full-bodied and fruity Bordeaux. The taste, like the label, stands out from the crowd and has just the right amount of quirkiness. Fast becoming one of my favourite reds.

Will mature nicely. The fruit a little young still. A very good buy
