Description
"It is exquisitely polished in its styling with complex aromas of brioche, lemon peel, almond, apple and floral with a touch of savoury mushroom. The palate is concentrated, focused and seamless, showing pristine fruit flavours together with seductive yeasty undertones, leading to an impressively long, fine finish. It is delicate yet substantial, and offers terrific drinking. At its best: now to 2023" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2018
"Bright, light golden-hued yellow colour with some depth, a little lighter on the rim, the bead very persistent and fine. The nose is softly full and voluminous with aromas of ripe yellow stonefruits entwined with white and yellow florals forming a tight core. Subtle biscuit and bready-yeast notes unfold along with honied elements. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has rich and gently mouthfilling flavours of yellow stonefruits harmoniously interwoven with bread and yeast, and also biscuit complexities and a touch of honey. The palate is fresh and mouthfilling with fine, balanced acidity and a delicately textured, underlying line. The flavours carry to a lingering finish of florals, stonefruits, yeast and honey. This is a gently harmonious, mouthfilling Blanc de Blancs Champagne with yellow stonefruit and floral flavours, entwined with subtle autolysis and hints of honey. Serve as an aperitif, and with Asian fare over the next 2-3 years. 100% Chardonnay, fermented to 12.6% alc., undergoing MLF, with 6.5 g/L dosage, the wine aged a minimum of 3 years on lees. Disgorged Jan 2018. Lot L 0118" Raymond Chan, Apr 2018
"Floral, elegant and pristine bouquet with steely lemon and yeast autolysis infusion, white strawberry and white peach. Crisp, refreshing and dry on the palate with flavours of white strawberry and peach, some apple and pear moments. Very fine mousse carrying all the flavours through to a lengthy and fine finish. Drink Now and through 2022" Cameron Douglas, Shout Magazine, Apr 2018
