Description
"Lifted aromas of light red fruits and peach, toasty autolysis and alluring scents of complexity and charm. Full-bodied, rich and dry with intense flavours of red fruits, peach and citrus peel. Lush mousse, plenty of acidity and long finish. Drink now and through 2024" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
"Moderately deep salmon-pink colour with light eye-of-the-partridge hues on the edge, the bubbles very fine and very persistent. The nose is elegantly concentrated and packed with intense aromas of savoury strawberry fruit and yellow stonefruits melded harmoniously with complexing bready-yeasty autolysis and subtle notes of nutty aldehyde detail. This retains freshness and red floral notes emerge in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is well-proportioned with sweet and luscious flavours of yellow stonefruits entwined with red berry fruit along with red floral elements. The autolysis is subtle and lies in the background. The mouthfeel is lively and mouthwatering, the tannins quite integrated. The wine has a creamy mouthfeel, and flows along a fine-textured line with bright acidity lending line and energy, carrying to a lingering, refreshing finish. This is a softly sweet and lush dry Rosé Champagne with stonefruit, red berry and floral flavours with subtle autolysis on a creamy palate. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 2-3 years." Raymond Chan, Nov 2018
Red fruit aromas on the nose are followed by a fleshy palate and a nutty finish. This atypical, delicately salmon-colored Rosé comes from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Marion-Bosser is seriously sublime champagne! The Bossers are a mother and daughter operation and the grandmother also helps out at harvest time. They only make approx 40,000 bottles of champagne per year so they are really boutique. All their vines are Premier Cru. They are based in Hautvillers, the same village as Dom Perignon.
