Description

A lifted nose showing aromas of passion fruit, white peach and grapefruit combined with refreshing herbal and mineral notes. Light bodied and refreshing, with typical Marlborough flavours of passion fruit, blackcurrant and grapefruit. A pleasing herbaceous thread leads to a long finish. Fruit was sourced from this mystery Estate's vineyard and two others within the lower Awatere and Ward areas of Southern Marlborough. Upon reaching optimum flavour, development and ripeness, the fruit was transported to the winery with haste and pressed off with minimum skin contact. The resulting juice was cool fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness and zingy acidity.

Fantastic fresh wine from Marlborough's southern region. Long finish with magnificent minerality typical of the area. A real winner for the price. I do note that it has now increased in price since I purchased, but still worth it.
