A subtle pink blush colour, with lifted light red fruits and raspberry and a hint of stone fruit. Gentle red berry fruit flavours provide an inviting entry to a more complex, textured and mineral palate with a balanced, crisp finish.
Sourced from The Mound, Deans and Home Block vineyards in the Waipara Valley, with deep free draining Glasnevin gravels.
Pinot Noir fruit parcels were harvested in the cool of the morning, crushed and soaked on skins for 4 hours to develop. Drained juice was then settled and racked before fermentation. Once desired sweetness was reached, the ferment was cooled and stopped. The wine was left on lees for several weeks before being fined using traditional methods.
