Expressive tropical melon fruits, guava and passion-fruit with floral blackcurrant leaf herbals. The palate has a soft and juicy entrance full of melon and mango with underlying yellow bell peppers. The wine is weighty and textural with a crisp mineral line to finish.

The Bull Paddock Vineyard is located in the Dillons Point sub-region of Marlborough’s Lower Wairau Valley and was once only good for raising bulls. The young alluvial soils now produce grapes with a powerful bouquet of rich tropical aromas, expressive flavours and an intriguing mineral element.

"Bright, pale straw-yellow colour, near colourless on the rim. The nose is softly full and voluminous with fresh aromas of pungent passionfruit and tropical fruit harmoniously intergrated with notes of fresh herbs and snow peas. This has a near ethereal expression. Dry taste and medium-bodied, the palate is fresh and bright with good depth and soft concerntration, showing entle layers of passionfruit, topical fruits and herbs. This Sauvignon Blanc brings ripe citrus aromas melded with tropical fruits. Laden with juicy rock melon, vibrant stone fruits and a fresh blackcurrant leaf aspect, this wine has a long and vibrant finish.

1 x Framingham's 'Nobody's Hero' Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Bright aromatics; grapefruit, sweet herbs and nettle. Yellow citrus on the palate, with red capsicum and a splash of more tropical fruit. The wine is dry, but not austere. Easy to drink on its own, or to match with food.

Winemaking is all about preserving each site’s individual identity, so it’s kept simple. Juices from each vineyard are kept separate, and fermented with an appropriate yeast in stainless steel tanks. Individual wines are then blended according to our idea of a complementary whole.

Food Pairing: Versatile on the table; try green lipped mussels or other shellfish or Ceasar salad.
