A delicious full-bodied Pinot Gris with appealing aromas of fragrant ripe green pear and warm baked apple crumble. The palate is textural and full bodied with rich flavours of juicy apple and pear and a light touch of spice. A long lingering finish showing classical elegance and finely balanced acidity. Drinking well now, this wine will increase in complexity over at least the next three years.
This wine was produced with fruit from select Marlborough vineyards. Harvested in the cool of the evening to maintain fresh fruit flavours. A small portion was fermented in seasoned oak and underwent malolactic fermentation in order to add complexity and texture.
