Description

Indulge in the ultimate South Australian wine experience with this selection of quintessential red wines from Two Hands Wines.

Collection includes:

2 x Two Hands 'Brave Faces' Barossa Valley GSM 2020 (Australia)

"Very nice dark purple hue. This leaps out of the glass with a bouquet of dried herbs, sage, mint, rose petal, potpourri, much like trying  fine perfume for the first time. The palate is all about caressing and rolling moderately weighted fruits. I really enjoy the dry and exposed juicy tannins on the long finish. The wine is very focused on the savoury edge, which is the style of these blends that appeal to me the most. All three varietals are working in a synergistic fashion, and in the end the ride is very soft and seamless. This is a bottling that really creeps up on you, you start tasting it and the next thing you know the bottle is empty. Yes we have aging potential here but I must say I find its youthful exuberance stage pretty hard to resist" Winemaker

1 x Two Hands 'Sexy Beast' McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Australia)

This Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep purple colour with a strong hue in the glass. The bouquet explodes with black currant, smoked hickory, glazed currents, aniseed, tar with a touch of cloved and cut mint. The palate starts out with drive and a thick sway of primary and robust fruits, it is all laid out with a beautiful clean exposure of strong fruits across the mouth. The tannins are well integrated and offer a nice dry twist to the late palate. This is definitely in the 'slurp-able' category, it really does just slide down so easily. This wine will age but offers a great deal of pleasure upon realease.

Food Pairing: Enjoy with exotic dishes lightly spiced or rich chocolate based desserts.

1 x Two Hands 'Angels Share' McLaren Vale Shiraz 2020 (Australia)

Awarded 95/100 Points: Wine Pilot, Feb 2021

"This is, of course, named after that tiny percentage of liquid which evaporates from barrels, be it wine or spirits, and is lost forever. In days gone by, winemakers believed that this was the angels sneaking in to have a drink. Bold and exuberant, with an appealing plushness. Dark chocolate and black cherries rule! Blackberries as well. This is a classic, cracking McLaren Vale Shiraz and amazing value. Indeed, this was my favourite from their range. It is that good! Generous in nature, yet balanced and seamless with such impressive balance. Silky tannins. Real length. This wine has it all. Superb. Love it. In a year or two, it will score even higher" Wine Pilot, Feb 2021

Voluptuous blackberry and plum flavours burst from the glass accompanied by hints of coffee and chocolate. Rich, satisfying and silky smooth, this has all the hallmarks of McLaren Vale Shiraz. Enjoy now or try cellaring over 4-6 years for more softness and flavour development.

Food Pairing: Delicious with any red meat dishes or rich tomato based pasta.

1 x Two Hands 'Gnarly Dudes' Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 (Australia)

The palate is rich, powerful and penetrating. The wine sling-shots a mouthful of flavour across your tongue and you are left with many succulent layers of spicy and dark fruit that flow. It is holding plenty in reserve and the tannins are fruitful but with a nervy persistence. This really has a strong core but comes across in waves and there is an evenness in this wine and it really is quite a ride. There is so much here to like and this will age brilliantly for the long haul. It’s just so well balanced as a young wine from a great vintage. It will enjoy 12+ years in a good cellar, with ease. Defined, proud and succulent. The 2021 Gnarly Dudes is deep brooding purple to black in colour. The aromatics are lifted and very intense, notes of bay leaf, dark berries, liquorice, cassis and violet and plum slowly emerge. All quintessential & typical of the characteristics found in the Barossa Valley.

1 x Two Hands 'Fields of Joy' Clare Valley Shiraz 2021 (Australia)

A moderately weighted palate coats the mouth. This has presession with fine line and length. Piercing and elegant run the fruits along your palate, here we have a medium bodied dry red that caresses and endures, this is a very easy and enjoyable ride the showcases the best that the Clare Valley can offer, delicate, melting and delicious.
