"This is instantly appealing on the nose showing orange peel, lemon zest, red apple and floral aromas with a hint of toasty nuance. The succulent palate displays excellent fruit intensity and persistency, while remaining elegant and linear with a lengthy delicious finish. Fresh and lively aromas of juicy white peach and green apple bounce off the tongue. The palate is crisp and refreshing with bright citrus characters and a hint of cherry blossom. An underlying minerality balances the wine allowing for a long, lingering finish.
These grapes were harvested from selected vineyards within Marlborough’s Wairau valley at the peak of flavour development in the cool of the evening. After fermentation the parcels of fruit were carefully blended together and prepared for bottling.
