"Crisp, fresh and varietal with a core of tropical fruit and citrus flavours, fresh herb and wet stone mineral quality. There’s a lovely satin-smooth touch ans the wine invades the palate then contrasting acisdidty laced with flavours of white peach and meyer lemon, herb and stony mineral qualities. Young, fresh and vibrant, a great summer drink and through 2024" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2022

The flavours & aromas in our Sauvignon Blanc reflect the high altitude, inland position of our vineyard. Passionfruit, pineapple and tropical fruit aromas on the nose. The palate shows a balanced weight and acidity with vibrant tropical flavours underscored by notes of pineapple and lime.

Food Pairing: With crisp acidity, welcoming citrus notes and tropical fruit aromatics, the Monowai Sauvignon Blanc is very food friendly. Pairing well with a huge range of food, but especially with fresh seafood, chicken dishes and moderately spicy foods.
