"An awesome rendition of the variety, showing blackberry, sweet plum, tar, violet and almond characters, followed by a concentrated palate that's plump and richly textured. Wonderfully rounded and supple with finely infused tannins, finishing immensely long and engaging. Certified organic. At its best: now to 2035" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2023

"Fantastic fragrant bouquet with a varietal core of dark plums and baked raspberry folded between complexities from barrel maturation and an earthy tilled soil quality. Some spice and soil attributes then dark violet suggestions. Firm and dry, taut and youthful, a flourish of flavours from fruit and nut qualities from the barrel. There’s a back bone of acidity with an abundance of firm ripe tannins adding texture and foundation. A fine example that will develop and age well with best drinking from 2025 through 2035" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, May 2023

This instantly approachable Syrah impresses with its dense, dark-red colour that leads to a bright and immediately inviting nose, exhibiting the classic cool-climate varietal spice and dark berry fruit aromas. A vibrant and energetic Syrah, complex, balanced and seamless on the palate with fine structure and texture, and finishes with a firm yet gentle tannin presence in the finish.

No herbicides, pesticides or systemic fungicides used. Only approved natural fertiliser applied. Vineyard certified organic (BioGro).

Hand-picked between the 8 th and 16th of April and co-fermented on “wild” yeast with 3% Viognier, retaining a high portion of whole berries. 13 to 18 days total time on sinks. Matured for 24 months in mainly used French oak barrels. One very light filtration prior bottling.

Food Pairing: Beautiful with venison, wild game, beef, lamb, vegetarian dishes, cheese especially blue cheese, chocolate, raspberries and strawberries.
