Delicously dry and showing quartzy minerality, this gris has fresh nashi and peach notes, a hint of spiced quince, fresh apple strudel and a long, zesty finish. Generous aromas of Central Otago apricots, gentle hay & roasted nuts; the wine has an intensely concentrated flavoursome & silky palate and a lovely linear acidity, complemented by a savoury spiciness.
Our aim in the vineyard is to grow the best fruit we can so it can speak of its home and express its personality. To do this you need healthy vines and soil. By practicing organics and incorporating some biodynamic principles we believe we are doing our best to help achieve this and let our vineyards evolve and speak as they would like.
Handpicked whole bunch pressed. Fermented in stainless steel with select aromatic yeasts. Gently filtered and bottled.
