"Beautifully fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows grapefruit, green rockmelon, feijoa and jasmine aromas, followed by a fruit-forward palate offering terrific fruit purity and intensity. Upfront and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Sep 2023

"Very attractive bouquet of fresh green herbs and tropical fruits, sweet pink grapefruit and apple. Fleshy, juicy and fruity on the palate with acidity providing freshness and carrying the core fruit flavours throughout. Balanced, fruity, varietal and well made with best drinking from 2023 through end of summer 2025" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Oct 2023

Packed with vibrant tropical fruits such as passionfruit and grapefruit, alongside fresh blackcurrant and herb flavours. A crisp, mouth-filling and delicious wine with a satisfying length of flavour.

Blessed with abundant sunshine and free draining soil, the Marlborough wine growing district is world-renowned. Thornbury's vineyards are located in the Wairau and Awatere Valley's, producing Sauvignon Blanc that is vibrant and fresh.

The backbone of the blend comes from the Awatere valley. This subregion provides the juicy blackcurrant and herbal flavours with a salty minerality while the wine from the Wairau Valley provides richness and weight along with flamboyant tropical aromatics.

Fermented cool in stainless steel tanks using aromatic yeasts. The wine spent time on its yeast lees to build extra texture and weight to palate.

Food Pairing: As an aperitif or with fresh seafood, such as Marlborough Green-lipped mussels or Pacific Oysters.
