Description

  • Dry style
  • Apricot
  • Passionfruit
  • Mouth-watering

"It’s classically expressed on the nose showing feijoa, kiwifruit, apricot and lemon/lime peel aromas, followed by a wonderfully flavoursome palate displaying excellent fruit intensity and persistency. Upfront and lively, making it delectably appealing. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jul 2023

"Light, ripe and delicately succulent sauvignon with passionfruit, blackcurrant bud, lemongrass, oyster shell, fresh asparagus and red capsicum flavours supported by refreshing acidity" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2023

A riot of ripe citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Loaded with juicy rock melon, lychee, vibrant stone fruits and lemongrass, the mouth-watering finish on this one deserves some serious savouring.

Vintage 2023 in Marlborough will go down as one of the best in a decade. After some early rain, the weather settled, and we enjoyed optimal Autumn weather. Marlborough’s trademark sunshine and cool evenings, allowed for an extended ripening period, while retaining beautiful acidity in the wines. The quality of the fruit is exceptional, with intense flavours and vibrant acidity. We’re proud of our 2023 wines and look forward to sharing them with you.

Overlooking the ocean, we grow our grapes near the coast in Blind River and in the lower Wairau Valley. Our grapes enjoy the region’s long sunshine hours, while the ocean breeze keeps things cooler and drier. Our Sauvignon Blanc was harvested when perfectly ripe, before being gently pressed and cool fermented with selected yeast strains to retain fruit flavour. The wine was aged on light lees for three months, prior to bottling.
