Description

  • Off-dry style
  • Lemon sorbet
  • Honeysuckly
  • Racy acidity

"Brilliantly fine with exceptional clarity and detail, the wine shows lemon sorbet, crunchy apple and jasmine aromas on the nose, leading to an elegantly expressed palate that’s pristine and flowing with refined texture and elegant sweetness. It’s superbly balanced by racy acidity, making the wine wonderfully harmonious and delicious. Style: Medium-dry. At its best: 2025 to 2035" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2023

"Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is softly full, with aromas of apple, lime and a suggestion of white peach melded with apple blossom. Medium-bodied, off-dry to taste, aromas of apple, lime and zest, white peach entwined with apple blossom and jasmine. Mouth-watering acidity flows with good energy and balances sweetness, driving a long, floral nuanced, refreshing finish" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Oct 2023

"Fantastic bouquet with white rose, mandarin and lime-flower, aromas of fresh red apple skin and  white apricot. The mineral quality is highlighted by a youthful reductive flinty edge, youthful taut and new. Off-dry as the wine touches the palate, a wine of freshness and youthful vibrato, razor-sharp acidity, lime and white apricot flavours with a mandarin and lime-flower finish. Lengthy, fruity and delicious. Great summer 2024 drinking and best from 2025 through 2035+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Oct 2023

Aromas of fresh Kaffir lime are beautifully balanced with hints of lemon, Jasmine, hazelnuts and orange blossom. Bright and pure, with a refined grainy texture, honeysuckle, bright citrus, concentrated with a lovely balance of sweetness and mouth-watering acidity.

This year’s harvest stands out as one of the best in the past decade - allowing for perfect picking conditions. The Indian summer, followed by a cooler autumn, allowed for an even, slower ripening period, producing highly concentrated fruit with distinctive flavours. As a result, the wines are pure and powerful, with lifted aromatics, lively acidity and great energy. The fruit was harvested from the Southern Valleys early in the morning to ensure it remained cool and retained purity.

Fermented cold in stainless steel to retain aromatics and purity. The fermentation was stopped when the sweetness and acidity were in perfect balance. The wine then rested on fine lees for three months to gain texture and complexity.
