"Bright and beautifully aromatic, showing green apple, rock melon, lemon peel and white floral aromas on the nose. The palate delivers lovely vibrancy together with juicy fruit intensity, finishing lingering and mouth-watering. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2024

A refreshing and vibrant wine with aromas of grapefruit and white pear complementing the tropical flavours to form this well-balanced wine. The wine shows citrus and stone fruit characters with an off-dry style that lingers on to a juicy finish. Crisp acidity creating a fresh wine that can be enjoyed now or over the next two years.

At the start of the growing season conditions were dry with some isolated spring frost events. During flowering cooler temperature and changeble daytime weather led to a below-average set of berries. Warm days and settled weather followed, resulting in higher-than-average daily temperature. During vintage we had warm days, cool nights and minimal rain which allowed perfect conditions for the fruit to be picked at optimum ripeness. Although we had lower-than-average yield, the fruit that was there was of excellent quality.

The fruit was picked in the cool of the morning and processed using anaerobic techniques. The cool fruit was de-stemmed, crushed and lightly pressed. At this stage the greatest of care is taken to handle the fruit as little as possible during these processes thereby retaining maximum fruit character and aromas. The juice was clarified by cold settling, after which it was racked and then fermented for approximately 28 days in stainless steel tanks.
