Description

We reckon that Rosé is not only a summer tiple but a wine that can and should be drunk all year around.  However sometimes we order a bit more than we need!  Great result for Black Market members as we have been forced to put an awesome rosé pack togther at crazy prices!

This pack includes:

2 x Villa Blanche Grenache Rosé 2014

Awarded GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard 2015

'Pale provençal pink. Pretty, peachy, scented. Pink Lady apples and early-season raspberries – just before the real warmth of the sun has ripened them to sweetness. Delicate and dry with just a smidgeon of chalky texture on the finish. Very good Rosé. I’d love to taste this alongside some Provence pinks.' Jancis Robinson MW

2 x Domaine De La Mordorée Côtes Du Rhône Rosé 2014

AWARDED 92/100 POINTS: Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate

'Clean, crisp and lively, with gorgeous watermelon, citrus blossom, Rosé petal and hints of minerality all emerging from the glass, the 2014 Cotes du Rhone Rosé la Dame Rousse is more fresh and lively than the two Tavel releases, yet certainly doesn't lack for depth, length or flavor intensity. Medium-bodied, juicy, clean crisp, it's one of those few Rosés that has the ability to instantly transport you to a seaside village, overlooking the Mediterranean, on a gorgeous summer day. Buy this rocking effort by the case and drink it over the coming year or two.' Robert Parker's  – The Wine Advocate

2 x Domaine Maby Lirac 'La Fermade' Rosé 2014

AWARDED 91/100 POINTS: Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate

'An estate that continues to ratchet up the quality level in all of their cuvées, Domaine Maby's 2014 Lirac la Fermade Rose is a smoking blend of 70% Cinsault and 30% Grenache that spent 6 months in stainless steel. It has terrific notes of wild strawberries, salty minerality and assorted floral nuances to go with a medium-bodied, rounded, textured, yet beautifully fresh and pure style on the palate. It has the class to drink nicely on its own, but should shine on the dinner table with food. Give the depth here, I suspect this will have a more Tavel type of evolution, showing best in another couple of months, and then have 1-2 years or longevity. It's also more than reasonably priced, so don't miss grabbing a few of these.'
