A dry Pinot Gris with lovely apricot and ginger aromatics. Fresh flavours of pear and nougat combine with stonefruit and spice in this delicious cool climate Pinot Gris with subtle flavours and a bright acidity.
Grapes for this wine are sourced from the Bendigo (39%), Pisa (34%) and Gibbston (27%) sub regions of Central Otago.
The mild Summer combined with classic large diurnal shifts in Autumn led to a long ripening period giving great complexity and concentration to the fruit. Fermented in tank and aged on yeast lees for 2 months prior to blending and bottling.
