"Modern and fruit expressive, the inviting bouquet shows Black Doris plum, sweet cherry, thyme and mixed spice aromas, followed by a silky palate that's ripe and flavoursome. Medium-full and generously styled with a lengthy smooth finish. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2023

"Aromas and flavours of plums and cherry, some softer raspberry scents and an old leather and pepper spice quality. Salami meats and rose, fresh red berries and spices. Dry with an abundance of fine tannins and medium+ acid line. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from 2023 through 2027+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Feb 2023

Deep ruby red in colour. Powerful aromas of wild berries and spices - typical of the Syrah grape. On the palate there are strong flavours of blackcurrant and red berries which surround a smoth fruit core. This is a stylish wine with lots of personality.

This cuvée is produced using only Syrah vines, planted in the southern part of the Ardèche region.

100% of the grapes are destemmed before maceration which takes place in closed tanks for around 15 days. Extraction in helped by a daily pumping over. Fermentation temperatures are controlled and maintained between 28-30°C. After pressing and racking, malolactic fermentation takes place inside the tanks. Maturing takes place in vats to preserve fruit aromas. The wines are racked regularly to allow natural stabilisation of their components. This Syrah is bottled after blending and a light filtration.

Food Pairing: Cold cuts, barbeque, grilled fish or sausages.
