Description
Bold passionfruit, lime and red capsicum are just a few of the aromatic characters that can be found in this wine. The palate is crisp with strong racy citrus notes and a wonderful green grassy finish. Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Delicious at any time with fresh seafood, tomato based pasta or Greek salads.
Each of the vineyards was vinified separately, with the free run juice fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures with carefully selected yeast strains, chosen for their ability to enhance the aromatic profile of Sauvignon Blanc. We blended the best tanks to produce this wine.
The 2015 vintage produced low crop levels, the lovely long dry ripening season was perfect for the flavour development of this Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is produced from a number of vineyards that represents the very best of the sub-regions within Marlborough, including the Southern Valley's, Rapaura, Brancott and the Awatere. Each area provides different characters and textures that come together, adding depth and complexity to this wine.
