Rich plum and berry fruit is lifted by fragrant spice, violet and liquorice aromas. The palate is medium weight and supple with a long finish making it well matched to a range of game and red meat dishes or robust vegetarian dishes (particularly displaying more earthy or savoury elements). This wine can be cellared as the taste will improve and age over time, however it can also be consumed from purchase.
